Mr Pooley's critique - Woodhouse's Timamso Maestro, another quality dog who is a credit to the breeder and owner.  Just 2 years old but full of quality and type.  Very well put together and this showed in the effortless movement. BOB.

I was really pleased with Barney's placing in the Limit class as he was up against some very good dogs who have been placed regularly in shows in the UK and also he now has his Cruft's qualification for 2007!

Mrs Jeffries' critique - very striking outline, good neck and shoulders, topline and stifles, deep brisket, moved quite well, not so good in head as above.

Kennel Club of Jersey Championship Show - 6th May 2006

Beagle Open - 1st, BOB & Hound Group 1 - Jersey CC (Crufts 2007 qualification)

An excellent result for Barney - a great win in a very strong hound group.  Jersey run three championship shows per year and each group winner receives a CC, with group 2 awarded the RCC.  Three CC's won by a dog will gain it the title of 'Jersey Champion'.  Barney finished up 4th Best in Show.

Mr Cavill's critique - Timamso Maestro of Birybarn, cracking example of the breed, fabulous head, beautiful outline, lovely tailset, moved very well although perhaps a little wide in chest and could have been a little shorter in back, other than that, lovely.

Mrs Nixon's critique - tri who was a little naughty but finally settled, very appealing head and expression, nice neck and shoulder angulation, sound front, topline & tailset, nice bend of stifle, showed well.  Appears to have lost a little weight since I last judged him.

Gail Storie's critique - Sympathetic handling got the best out of this very nice 2 year old beagle.  Good body proportions, compact feet with thick pads, moved effortlessly.  I liked the dog and was most impressed by the handler.

Mrs Macdonald's critique - Typical Tri of good size and lovely outline.  Good masculine head although I would prefer a darker eye.  Well off for bone and with nice tight feet.  Has a good neck and shoulder, good topline and short loin.  Well angulated behind and went well going round.
